They provided great recommendations nearby. This is not your typical Airbnb, it feels as though you have a private oasis. It made our anniversary trip that much more special. Having the infinity pool and jacuzzi to ourselves while onlooking the beautiful grounds and mountains was the serene getaway we needed. The drive up in Escondido is great as well! No stove in the kitchen , but there is a toaster oven and self-heating skillet to cook with. Nice -sized steam shower and sauna as well! If I could make one recommendation it would be a king-sized bed instead of a queen.

The one at this location, is exquisite. Looking over the Infiniti ledge at all the beautiful landscape, while in the water, is pure heaven. Casita is lovely. Built in sauna and steamer in shower. A basket filled with snacks, and bottled water were provided! The hosts are both wonderful and we look forward to coming back.

The view overlooking the golf course and vineyards in the distance was beautiful. Very peaceful and relaxing.
While staying in the casita felt like we were away from the hustle and bustle of life, all the shopping and restaurants were just minutes away when we wanted to venture out.

During our short stay we utilized the spa that David had started heating for us upon our arrival. we used the sauna each day, which was very relaxing after a day of wine tasting, we did not get a chance to use the steam shower. David suggested several restaurants and wineries that were fantastic. we enjoyed our time in escondido and at Domaine au Soleil and would definitely choose to stay here again.

The property sits in a stunning position with beautiful views over the garden, the golf course, the vineyards and away to the hills. There are many outdoor seating areas and there is a real feeling of peacefulness and calm everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay and would do so again.
The apartment has everything you need, is attractively decorated and furnished and most importantly has a very comfortable bed with luxurious linen. To cap it all there is a sauna and steam room - what a delight - and we used them every day.
We found David and Luis very easy to deal with as they were responsive, friendly, relaxed and generous.
All in all a wonderful place to stay and we can recommend the property without reservation.

I (Cleveland) wanted to surprise my daughter (LA) with a change of scenery and inspiration for creativity. Domaine Au Soleil exceeded all expectations.The grounds are breathtaking. The casita is extremely comfortable and gorgeous. We'd planned on catching a meal at a local eatery or winery. That did not happen. We ordered grocery and never left the property! The kitchen was well-equipped. Thus, we enjoyed sharing time alone and eating our home-cooked meals. We enjoyed seeing the furbabies in passing and wanted to play more. However, Luis & David made certain that they gave us space and we had plenty of it. Now, for amenities:The living and sleeping quarters were incredibly relaxing. We indulged often in the steam shower, built-in sauna, swimming pool, and jacuzzi. My daughter created the most beautiful music . A memory was created that can never be erased. I am beyond grateful.

The pool and outdoor spa area are flawlessly kept clean and maintained, with a view that’s breathtaking any time of day. We couldn’t believe how clear and QUIET it was!
The lower yard is a wonderful place to sit and drink a cup of coffee or enjoy a board game.
Inside the casita is just as incredible as outside. The indoor sauna and steam room were the highlight of the trip for us. True resort style amenities in this beautiful and private listing.
The snacks and waters upon arrival were such a great touch. Clean linen and robes available a plenty.
They even went out of their way to pump a basketball for us so we could enjoy the driveway court! Such fun!
Can’t say enough great things about this listing and its hosts!

Surrounded by the majestic mountains, the spectacular pool and European gardens take your breath away. Both David and Luis were responsive and checked in politely when we crossed paths. They were proactive in responding to anything we asked about. Plenty of towels, all the necessary kitchen appliances and amenities for light snacks and small meal prep, and plenty of great recommendations on nearby spots.

David recommended wonderful restaurants that made my girlfriends birthday very special.
The property and casita were more beautiful in person than the photos. Attention to detail was outstanding and the casita was very clean. We were provided with lots of fresh clean towels and the bed was so comfortable. I have stayed in many B&B's, Inns and house rentals and this was one of the most memorable. The price we paid was very reasonable for the experience we had. We will definitely visit again.

The shower can be converted into a steam room and across the way there is a sauna all within this guest house. David and Luis were so welcoming and responsive - they gave us wonderful restaurant and winery recommendations and provided anything we needed. I thought it was a lovely touch that they provided bottled waters and snacks for our stay. The grounds of the property are absolutely stunning and our stay felt like we were at a hotel resort and spa. There were breathtaking views. All the winery recommendations were on point. We loved the whole property from the beautiful birds, to the fruit trees and the European style park below. We relaxed in the hot tub and even tried out the steam room and sauna and it was all magical. Only wish we could of met Luis who was away while we were visiting. The pictures gave us an indication of this magnificent paradise, but there's nothing like seeing it in person. The ground were immaculate and picturesque! The casita was well appointed and beautifully decorated. David and Luis paid special attention to all of the details, which made for wonderfully restorative and relaxing weekend. David and Luis rolled out the red carpet from the moment we arrived, to the moment we checked out. This was the perfect way to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The pictures don’t do any justice once seeing their property in person. You feel welcomed right from the start. David was the perfect host! He brought us the most amazing banana nut bread straight from his oven. The location itself was from a Homes and Garden magazine with miles and miles of vineyards as far as the eye could see. We can’t thank David enough with his top notch hospitality and kindness he has shown my husband and I. Beyond the best host! Loved all the amenities, such as the sauna, the steam room, the hot tub, the EV charger, the ice and water from the fridge, the Nespresso coffee, the snacks to enjoy with our coffee.. The hosts were exceptionally kind and constantly checked in with us to make sure all our needs were met. Not once did we have to ask for anything because our hosts were proactive in making our stay comfortable. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The pool and the hot tub/spa was gorgeous. Sitting late night in the pool, being able to enjoy the calmness and serenity of the landscape was something I couldn’t even begin to describe. The place was exceptionally clean and each detail was hand-picked/decorated; the attention-to-detail is what made this place feel homely and luxurious at the same time. Check-in was a breeze and David even waited to greet us once we came in. I love this place and we are so thankful to the hosts to share their space with us.

The backyard has a great view of mountains and a golf course. Personally I just took moments throughout my stay and hanged out in the backyard. It’s extraordinary peaceful and amazing hosts.

This location is perfect for a nice weekend getaway - has all the amenities you would find at a high end hotel with the added bonus of extreme privacy. Will be looking to stay again and would recommend to anyone!

It's super close to wineries, shopping malls and a short drive to the beach or San Diego. The grounds are beautiful and you truly feel like you are staying at Ritz. Everything is perfect including the swimming pool. It's must stay and so much nicer any Resort Hotel can offer.

We were celebrating my birthday with a weekend getaway and happened upon this gem listing. Communication leading up to check-in and throughout our stay was excellent. The property is breathtaking and serene. It was such a pleasure to be able to spend quiet mornings by the pool, basking in the beautiful Escondido weather. Parking was a breeze; the structure even has EV charging! Steam room and dry sauna were lifesavers after hours spent walking around the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, which is less than 10 minutes away.
Not only is the casita stunning, David and Luis are such kind hosts. They both made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. They were also easily accessible and responded quickly if we had any questions.
Staying at the casita was an absolute dream. We can't wait to visit again soon!

The location is absolutely breathtaking, David is extremely kind and accommodating, and the space is well equipped and clean. You simply can’t beat the gorgeous backyard and pool/jacuzzi that overlooks the nearby vineyards and mountains. Then add the extremely helpful hosts, the well equipped kitchen, huge tv, comfortable bed, the amazing steam shower, private sauna (which we hope to indulge in if we’re able to return), and you’ve got an unforgettable getaway. This stay was exactly what we needed and we would definitely recommend it to anyone desiring a calming, stress free stay.

This is truly a gem, and possibly the best place you'll be able to stay in the Escondido/San Diego area. If not the best in all of California - period. You will be greeted by a beautiful home on a multi million dollar property, and everything is the best of the best. The views, security, garden, pool, etc. Everything you could possibly wish for during your trip to California, and then some!
Wake up to the most beautiful sunrises, walk out to the pool, or take a day trip to all the best wineries (in close proximity). I can not recommend this place enough!!

I was fortunate enough to propose under the beautiful gazebo and trust me when I say the first view from the gazebo facing the estate will leave you in awe. We will definitely be coming back! The sauna and steam shower were amazing every little detail is accounted for. We cant wait to come back and experience this again. Peaceful is a great word to describe it! And the landscape is unmatched. We were so grateful that we were able to use the hot tub, sauna and steam room! My husband and I were on a bit of a work / play trip so it was nice to come back at the end of a long day and relax. It is private, yet close enough to many ideal locations. David gave such clear & easy instructions and was always responsive. David and Luis were the best host and they always made sure everything was ideal. We had such a nice time chatting with them, as well as, Vincent and Pablo! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We definitely would love to return in the future and recommend this stay to anyone.

The property was beautiful, well manicured and extremely quite. No road noise or loud neighbors. The apartment was ready for us on time. Everything in the apartment was very clean. Had great communication with the hosts (David & Luis) who were very friendly and kind. Texts to the hosts were answered immediately. Everything worked properly inside the apartment. The bathroom has a steam shower and a Sauna. The kitchen has a toaster, Microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and a full sized refrigerator. Treats and drinks were left for us when we arrived in the kitchen. The photos of the property were accurate. Beautiful infinity edge pool and Spa were right outside of our doors. Did not use the pool, but used the Spa both nights. We highly recommend this listing. Its perfect for a couple to spend time together in a peaceful setting. Thank you David & Luis.

My wife Kandice and I were looking to get away and unplug for a few days. Kandice has been battling stage IV cancer for over seven years, and we just lost our last of 3 Siberian Huskies this July 2022. Being empty nesters, we had to get away for the weekend as our home is quiet and lifeless without our crazy Huskies keeping us busy. We were not only sold on the beautiful home, in this amazing location, but we were most excited about the dogs Vincent and Pablo who we had hoped to meet during our visit. We aren’t ready for more dogs yet, so we are busy loving on other’s!
Alongside the dogs, we got to meet David and Luis. We have never traveled and stayed at a location where at the end of the trip, you felt like you were a part of that family. David, Luis, and the pups were so welcoming and simply filled a void that Kandice and I have both had for quite some time since loosing our dogs. It felt like we were right at home as we spent each morning and evening just talking down in the gardens w/David & Luis, playing ball w/Pablo, and petting Vincent.
That was our experience, and it was a genuine connection to this amazing family, and this beautiful property. It was exactly the connection that we needed. It wasn’t just a trip for us, we made new friends at Domaine Au Soleil, and we plan on booking another weekend in the coming months to come back and visit our new friends, and run our cars through the hills, and go enjoy some live music at the wineries together.
David, Luis, Pablo, & Vincent is what made this trip memorable for us, in the exact time that we needed a strong human bond, as well as some good ole fashioned puppy love!Show more

They were so warm and welcoming and they made sure our needs are taken care of. They were easy to contact, though we didn’t need to contact them, as they left helpful details on how to operate the amenities within the casita and pool area.
We checked in a few minutes early and were given a personal tour by Randall. David left clear instructions on how to get in the property and who to call when we arrived. The casita was lovely and perfect for up to two guests looking to get away. It has a perfect view of the pool, the estate grounds, and the sprawling golf course and winery just beyond the property. The property was secluded and peaceful. The estate grounds was done in a European style, complete with a marble gazebo and lots of benches to sit and enjoy the surroundings.
The pool has an infinity edge that overlooks the estate grounds. It also has a hot tub that’s great to hang out in while the sun sets.
The casita itself has a steam room AND sauna attached to the bathroom. I haven’t been pampered this much in a while.
Checkout was a breeze. David graciously gave us until noon to check out, so we can continue to enjoy the morning in the estate.

My girlfriend were looking for some romantic time to enjoy ourselves without the kids and to spark up some special moments. We found this spot in Escondido which was very easy to get to off the 15 south near the Escondido Mall. The location is conveniently accessible away from the mall but close enough if you need to go anywhere. When you go in, the location is private looking out towards a beautiful courtyard. it is something out of wedding magazine. A gazebo sits in the middle with lamps over head to provide adequate lighting but keep the realizing atmosphere going.
As we walked into our cozy place, you have all those standard amenities in the kitchen which allow you to cook and clean. The walls are with beautiful photographs pictures from all over the world that match well the kitchen colors. The cleanliness and working appliances were satisfactory. The bathroom not only has a perfectly working toilet and sink but has a steam shower and a sauna. Instructions are easy to follow and David the owner was easy to get ahold of for any questions. I can't tell you how relaxing a steam shower and a sauna was opening my pores letting all the toxica out of my body.
The bedroom was spacious with plenty of room for clothes in the closets. Of course the flat screen Smart TV was large I'm assuming like 80 inch with access to Netflix and other apps.
We enjoyed our time at this place and we highly recommend that you stay here for that home away from home in a luxurious way. I can't tell you how happy we were to stay here and will be doing it again.Show more
