Our estate is first and foremost a private short-term vacation rental, reserved for overnight guests seeking a peaceful and meaningful stay.
For guests who wish to create an unforgettable proposal during their visit, we offer an optional Proposal Experience add-on, available exclusively in combination with an overnight reservation at a nominal fee.
Requiring an overnight stay allows us to thoughtfully coordinate the property and ensure a calm, uninterrupted setting for this special moment.
Why the Proposal Experience Requires an Overnight Stay
The Proposal Experience is offered only with an overnight reservation (2 night minimum) in order to:
- Ensure guests have exclusive use of the property during their proposal window
- Thoughtfully coordinate the gardens for a reserved, protected moment
- Maintain a quiet, private atmosphere with desired lighting effects (Full park lights or accent)
- Preserve the estate as a true retreat while offering a meaningful enhancement
- Allow the guest an opportunity to stage the proposal site with flowers or candles if desired.
This approach allows proposals to feel intentional, well-timed, and truly special, without changing the relaxed nature of the stay.
How the Proposal Add-On Works
When booking your overnight stay, you may select a Private Proposal Garden Reservation, which includes:
- Exclusive reservation of the gardens for a three-hour period
- A designated proposal window scheduled during your stay
- A serene, landscaped wine-country setting held specifically for your proposal
- The flexibility to plan your moment in a way that feels personal and unhurried
During this three-hour window, the gardens are reserved specifically for your proposal, giving you a clearly defined moment to focus entirely on the experience.
What the Proposal Add-On Includes
The Proposal Experience is designed to be simple, flexible, and guest-directed, allowing you to create a moment that feels authentic and personal.
Included with the add-on:
- Reserved private use of designated garden areas
- A three-hour exclusive proposal window during your overnight stay
- A peaceful, landscaped setting ideal for intimate proposals
- Lighting arranged to meet a specific request (Accent and/or full park "twelve lamp posts" lighting)
- The freedom to incorporate personal touches such as flowers, music, or décor
Guests are welcome to arrange their own photographer and/or proposal planner to assist with organizing the moment, if desired.
Not included:
- On-site coordination or event staff
- Catering, food service, or beverage service
- Décor setup, breakdown, or vendor management
All planning and vendor coordination are handled directly by the guest or their chosen professionals.
Proposal Experience Pricing
The Proposal Experience add-on is offered at a nominal flat rate of $299, in addition to your 2 night overnight stay.
This fee covers:
- A three-hour exclusive reservation of the gardens
- Thoughtful scheduling to ensure privacy and uninterrupted use of the space
- Coordination of the reserved proposal window within your stay

This offering is intentionally designed to remain unpressured and transparent. The estate provides the setting and the reserved time — you bring the vision.
How to Reserve the Proposal Experience
To include the Proposal Experience with your stay:
- Book a 2 night overnight stay through our website
- During checkout, select the “Proposal Experience” add-on
- We will contact you to confirm the timing and lighting desired.
Once selected, the proposal add-on becomes part of your confirmed reservation.

Gentle Clarification
Can I reserve the proposal experience without booking the estate pool side suite? Can I have a wedding at this venue? Can I have an Event at this venue?
No — the Proposal Experience is available exclusively to guests with a confirmed 2 night overnight reservation to ensure privacy and exclusive use of the property during the proposal window.
We do not host weddings or events. We have decided to focus on hosting in our poolside apartment and providing an exclusive proposal venue to maintain the calm beauty of this location.
Note: Our license limits our guests to 2 people. We welcome a photographer or assistant if desired during the proposal.
